**Please note the following before submitting your application:

NOTICE: In order to better assure the commonality of interests among NFSSC member companies and the ability to provide a forum within which open and frank discussions can occur regarding security issues of concern to member companies, the Board of Directors has, by resolution, adopted certain membership policies. Membership in the NFSSC shall be limited to companies, firms or entities engaged in the retail level of the multi-unit food service industry. Individuals representing member companies at NFSSC meetings and functions otherwise closed to the public must be employees or consultants of the member company they represent. Any such individual company representative who also offers their services to the public as a private paid security consultant must agree to refrain from utilizing association meetings, functions and mailing lists for purposes of soliciting private security consulting business from member companies.

NFSSC which states the following:

  1. The member company is aware of the individual having a separate consulting business..
  2. The member company specifically permits the individual to receive compensation from the public or vendors of security products.
  3. Disclosure of all vendor companies with which the individual has a paid consulting relationship.
  4. The member company understands that should a topic for discussion be raised which could include issues that touch upon the business of a vendor and such a vendor has a consulting arrangement with the member representative, the representative will be required to leave the room until the discussion is completed.

Any company representative who fails to disclose a paid consulting arrangement is subject to disciplinary measures as taken by a vote of the Board of Directors which may include revoking the individuals rights to attend meetings for the member company.
